Kiss&Blog by Alyson Noel

Winter and Sloane have been best friends for eight years. So when Sloane brutally and abruptly ends their long term friendship, taking the cheer Winter wrote for their cheer leading tryouts. Needless to say Winter is left sad, hurt and confused. Having no where else to turn she heads to NYC to visit her dad and to "get away from it all", and after a week is sent back home with a new wardrobe, a new boyfriend, and a new out look on life.

But as soon as she sets foot back on her high school campus Winter is struck with the same feelings of hurt and neglect, until she literally bumps into Rey. Rey is the new guy in town who just happens to work at Winter's Mom's Health Food Café. Rey is smart, sweet, talented at art, singing and writing, not to mention incredibly sexy. He also has a blog which gives Winter the idea on how to get over her friendship with Sloane. Hiding behind the name Eleanor Rigby, Winter dishes to all Sloane's secrets and insecurities.

When I first heard about Kiss&Blog last year, I was intrigued until I read the back of the book. I don't know if I interpreted it wrong but the book lost it's appeal to me. So when I decided to read Kiss&Blog I was still a bit skeptical as to what the story would be like. So when I finished reading it I was surprised to find that I actually liked this book. I found Winter a bit ungrateful too the people who really mattered but she was still likable. The story was nice but it seemed like the story of how Mean Girls' Janis and Regina's friendship would've gone done if it was anything like Winter and Sloane's. I give it 3.5 stars
