I finished this book last week early Thursday morning due to temporary insomnia. But I haven't been able to blog about it until now.

How to Take the Ex Out of Ex-Boyfriend is about sixteen-year-old Giovanna Petrizzo who has just had one of the most absolute shocks of her life. Her boyfriend of two months, Jesse decides to be the campaign manager of the popular Wilson, current class president of Bickham High, even though her twin brother, Dante offered him the job first. Giovanna gets so mad at Jesse that she immediately ends their relationship and becomes Dante's campaign manager instead.

But after a few horrible blind dates Giovanna realizes that life without a boyfriend, especially one that's as great as Jesse isn't so great after all. With this in mind she vows to get Jesse back even though the odds of that happening are against her.

To tell you the truth, it took me about a month before I decided to read this book; even though the decision was based on the fact that I had to return it to the library because I couldn't renew it anymore. And like all the Books I've hesitated to read: Wicked Lovely, The Last Apprentice: Night of the Soul Stealer and Pretty Little Liars: Perfect, to name a recent few -- I was really surprised how much of a page turner this book was. Janet Rallison did an awesome job on this story. A lot of the things that happened in the story were a bit too embarrassing to read (like the breakup scene and the last blind date Giovanna was on) but it's all in the name of great teen fiction and I loved every minute of it. I especially loved the way everything turned out in the end.

That's all for today. Next up, What Happened to Cass McBride? by Gail Giles. I'll try to review this as soon as I finish reading it.

Hey, Hello

Hey all welcome to my little book reading corner. This blog is a combination of two of my 2008 New Year's resolution: a) Start a reading journal, and b) Try to start a blog. So here it is my Blog/Reading Journal. Hope you like what you read.

So, here I am another person with a blog (whoop tee do right?). Well like every person whose blog is about YA fiction I have something different to offer whoever chooses to read my blog. Like I wrote before, this blog is also my book journal so I will be reviewing the books I've recently read and I'll try to post them as I finish them. Another thing I'll be blogging about my book collection (I'm currently collecting books from the Sweet Valley Twins [and Friends] series but that's another blog topic) if you want to see the books I'm looking for for my collection check out my wish list which is located where ever my profile is.

I Know I have A LOT to live up to. The other bloggers such as: The Book Muncher, The Page Flipper and The Hiding Spot, all have awesome blogs. I hope my own will be just as great as theirs.

Well, that's it for now. I'm currently reading How to Take the Ex Out of Ex-Boyfriend by Janette Rallison so that will be the first book I review.
